The Automation Add-on allows admins to export Workspace items and tracking data for bulk review and editing, then import the updated information back into Wovex.
This feature is useful when you need to review large datasets, make multiple updates efficiently, or work with tracking data offline before updating your Workspace.
What you can export and import
With the Automation Add-on you can:
Export Workspace items and their details for review and bulk editing
Re-import edited item details back into Wovex
Export tracking data for bulk updates
Re-import updated tracking data to update your records in Wovex
This makes it easier to manage large amounts of data without editing each record individually.
When to use Export and Import
Common use cases include:
Reviewing and updating large sets of item details
Bulk correcting or updating data fields
Updating multiple tracking values at once
Preparing or validating data before importing it back into Wovex
Exporting data
Admins can export Workspace data to review or edit outside Wovex.
Typical exports include:
Item details such as Benefits, Measures, Goals, Deliverables, or Initiatives
Tracking data associated with Measures
Exported files can then be reviewed or edited before being imported again.
Importing updated data
After making updates to the exported file, you can import the edited data to update your Workspace.
When imported, Wovex will apply the updates to the matching items or tracking records.
This allows you to update multiple entries efficiently without manual edits in the Workspace interface.
Permissions
Admins:
Can export and import Workspace items and tracking data using the Automation Add-on.
Standard users:
Standard users cannot export or import data using this feature.
