Can I view different layers or perspectives of a large Map?

Yes with the Starter Plan's advanced Mapping features.

Some Mapping users sometimes end up with a large Map with lots of details – this is what you would probably want to maintain on your 'Main View'. If this grows to become complex and overwhelming for people there are several things that you can do:

  • Copy that main view to create a simpler copy with many of the objects hidden – this is quick and easy to do. It enables personalised and easy-to-understand stories to be built. Views are the best way to introduce people to a Map that is most relevant to thier viewpoint or gradually build information a layer at a time.

Add a feature here or ask your environment owner about upgrading.

  • Show-only allows you to show ‘paths’ through a Workspace e.g. show me just the items that contribute to an objective.

  • Options to turn items on for a map as a build. You can turn off some of the item types on a map and then turn them on one by one as you want to talk them through. Creating a simple build of information.

Can I use my mapping style in Wovex? I use a ...

Yes, any style is possible in Wovex. See read more about them here.

When managing benefits and capabilities, organisations rely on structured mapping approaches to create clear links between initiatives, outcomes, and strategic goals. These formats provide the frameworks needed to visualise, measure, and deliver value effectively. Below is an overview of the most widely used formats.

Do we have to enter data twice in maps and registers of information?

No, data only needs to be entered once in Wovex. Maps and the Workspace of information and reports are fully integrated, meaning that any item title or details edited in one area is automatically reflected across the system.

For example:

  • Create an Initiative, Benefit, or Measure in a map and it will instantly appear in your Workspace.

  • If you update titles or use AI to create descriptions in the Workspace, those changes will be reflected in the map too.

This seamless connection eliminates duplication, ensures consistency, and allows for efficient data management across different views and user roles.
