Can I view different layers or perspectives of a large Map?

Yes with Clarity Plus advanced Mapping features.

Some Mapping users sometimes end up with a large Map with lots of details – this is what you would probably want to maintain on your 'Main View'. If this grows to become complex and overwhelming for people there are several things that you can do:

  • Copy that main view to create a simpler copy with many of the objects hidden – this is quick and easy to do. It enables personalised and easy to understand stories to be built. Views are the best way to introduce people to a Map that is most relevant to thier viewpoint or gradually build information a layer at a time.

  • Show-only allows you to show ‘paths’ through a Workspace e.g. show me just the items that contribute to an objective.

  • Options to turn items on for a map as a build. You can turn off some of the item types on a map and then turn them on one by one as you want to talk them through. Creating a simple build of information.

You will need the Clarity Plus Plan for these features.

Can a Results Chain or Benefits Dependency Network (BDN) be created using Wovex?

Results Chains and Benefits Dependency Networks are both specific ways of mapping benefits visually.

Both of these, and every other mapping style we have come across over the last twenty years, can be created in Wovex.

Results Chain style is close to the standard Wovex style and templates can be easily created with any item shape, colour and layout that you prefer. (Tailoring is available with Advanced Data Management licences)

Additional elements have also been added to enhance these approaches and support the advanced optimisation features of Wovex.
